Missing his Lady

Trip's anxiety has really increased since Tasha has been gone.  When we leave him home alone he's destructive.  I think he's just trying to get out and find us.  Poor guy.

Aren't they just adorable!  I like that Keith was sharing his music with Alaya.  It's really funny because neither of them can read.

Sleepover

Heidi had a sleepover with her friend.  It started out great but ended much differently.  Apparently her friend was allergic to cats and I didn't know.  Kes, our cat, slept with them the entire night!!  Yikes!  By morning her eyes were swollen and the poor girl looked miserable.  I gave her some Benadryl but I could tell she still felt terrible.  Nextime I'll know to keep the cat away.

Oh, and do you see how Heidi is hogging the blanket?  Her dad does the same thing. lol!

Work in progress

When we bought the new van it had plastic carpet over a layer of padding.  The padding was very wet.  I tore it up because I was afraid that mold would begin to grow underneath.  What I found was rust.  I removed it by sanding and then applying naval jelly.  It took some time but worked great. 

Afterwards I sprayed everything down with rustoleum.  I used the old carpet as a template to cut a new piece as a replacement.

Sometimes people would come outside to keep me company.
