Fashion Show

Holly and Annika had a fashion show.  They requested specific songs each time they walked through the living room.





The last selection Annika said she wanted "metal music".  Um..... ok....   I didn't know what to play.  It's an old song but worked fine....

Pizza Night

Backyard pool

The rain continued to fall.  The holes in our backyard turned into small pools.

The fence in the background was once a dog kennel.  We don't really use it so the kids are allowed to play in it.  They call it "the fortress of ultimate protection".  They dug the hole to serve as a mote.

You may have heard on the news about all the rain we've been receiving.  Needless to say it's been very wet here.  The first day of rain wasn't too bad.  In fact we spent the day at the zoo.  I figured it would be a nice day to go since crowds are smaller during inclement weather.

Nickel-a-Play

The coolest arcade I've ever been to!  The kids got in free because they received coupons from a summer reading program.  It was awesome!

Short stuff can't even reach the pedals. 

This next video really cracks me up.  Keith actually beat Heidi on the motorcycle game.  He could hardly stay on the bike. lol  Heidi was all over the place too.  I asked her why she didn't place her feet on the ground for better control.  Her reply... "That's not how you ride a motorcycle mom."  Silly me.

Digestion

The kids made digestion posters for anatomy.  They were life size so I instead of keeping them I took pictures.
