It started to snow on our way home from Missouri. The roads were so bad that they shut the freeway down. We ended up stranded in WaKeeney Kansas. All the hotels were full so we hung out at a McDonalds/Gas station until an emergency shelter was established. The shelter wasn't too bad and they allowed us to bring our dog in. I was so grateful for a warm place to stay.
