International Towne is similiar to Ameritowne. I blogged about it a while back when Annika and Kurtis participated in the program. You can find that blog HERE.
Basically the students apply for a job and run a miniature global marketplace. They learn about trading, supply/demand and currency exchange. There was also a mock natural disaster that demonstrated how the economy of one country effects everyone. If your child has the opportunity to be a part of this program I would recommend it.
